Jesse Surratt is a Chicago-Area based hip hop journalist. Known best for his Youtube channel, Jmix/Jessesurratt Productions, Jesse also is an admin of TupacNation.net a Tupac Fan Discussion Forum with over 16k members and hundreds of thousands of impressions per month. Since 2012, he has interviewed Several West Coast Hip Hop acts associated with Mr. Shakur as well as rival East Coast Rappers, compiling one of the most detailed databases of 2pac information on the internet. As well as his work being mentioned in several online publications including, Rolling Stone Online, Hiphopdx, XXL, THE Source, BET, Vibe, Allhiphop, Boxden & Jack Thriller, he has currently Co-Produced a new controversial documentary focusing on the investigation into Tupac's murder called, Tupac Assassination 3: Battle For Compton. He is one of the last people to interview Russell Poole and was a friend of Tupac's late bodyguard, Frank Alexander.
